Five Years!

Friday, February 12, 2010

Today marks exactly five years since Robbie and I met Don and De for the very first time.

I can't believe it's been that long already!

I couldn't say it any better than De, who has said,
"We adopted 1 and got 50 free!"

Who would have thought that one little babe...

...could have brought all of these crazy people together!

I love it! I say the same thing about Ty. It's amazing what God can do when we simply open our hearts and say YES to him.

Beautiful.

I think Don is the one who gave me the link to your blog, I'm in a semi-open adoption, and I am jealous (for a lack of a better word) of your relationship with your daugher and her adoptive family. What a joy. I wish my son's adoptive parents felt the need to include me more. I think it is amazing how well your situation is working and I pray it will continue to work for ya'll! Thanks for sharing!

I blog about different things, mostly feelings and what is going on in my life. birthmomstories.blogspot.com is the one about my adoption journey, I have another one I started when my husband and I got engaged since we were moving to Hawaii and our families are in Tenn. & Georgia, negley2009.blogspot.com

So I finally figured out how to make an account on here...because you know of course I have been reading this :)...if we made it through a fight in front of your hamper we will be friends forever...looking at those older pictures...it is so crazy how big Deanna has gotten...I remember coming to your house when she could just barely crawl. She is a beautiful girl...thanks to you and Dee and Don...Love you <3
